These Engines were originally designed and made by us. Due to the small amount of sales here in Australia (due to the small market here and the great Aussie penchant for “cultural cringing”) we agreed to sell the manufacturing rights to our main overseas distributors so that they can set up their own manufacturing base and supply the engines at a more competitive price directly into their own markets. We negotiated an agreement that we would continue to support these engines in the Australian Market. All molded and forged components are still supplied from the same molds using the same materials as always. The engines currently sold in Australia are made in Australia by us so you know you are getting a great deal with world class service and support.  

These engines are very powerful in the rev range where most people actually fly and can turn larger diameter props all the way from the lowest idle through to maximum RPM than many similar sized engines. Combine this with a truly workable power curve and throttle response in the rev range where you  actually fly and you have a very flyer friendly engine.

These are fitted with GENUINE RCExcel ignitions and Walbro Carburettors, These engines also have similar physical external dimensions as the more popular engines in the class (so they fit most airframes easily).
